Ch Silvermorning’s Ultimate Victory (Imp USA) #2 Papillon In Australia 2018
My name is Amanda Gill and I have been involved in this beautiful breed for 4 years. I am a registered breeder with DogsSA/ANKC and I have been showing papillons for 3.5 years. I am also a member of the committee for The Papillon Dog Club of South Australia Inc.
My first show dog was Australian Champion Abfab Stepn Out, Sunny. I really fell in love with the breed and so one year later I got my foundation bitch, Australian Champion Abfab Beck And Call, Charm.
In 2017 my import from America arrived, Australian Champion Silvermorning’s Ultimate Victory, Rio. In late 2017 Sabelia “A” litter was born, 1 male and 2 females. I kept one male and one female, Sabelia All For The Victory, Jasper, and Sabelia Always Ascending and they are both doing wonderfully in the ring!
My papillons live in the house with me and are treated as family. Litters are reared in the home using the Puppy Culture protocol to ensure that all puppies reach their maximum potential as not just show dogs but also loving companions. Puppies have a lot of exposure to young children, other dogs/breeds as well as chickens, turkeys, guinea fowl and horses.
We breed for both physical and mental soundness, temperament, health and breed type. We conduct full breed profile DNA testing through Orivet and will only breed with DNA tested dogs.
Specifically we test for Progressive Retinal Atrophy (Papillon type), Neuroaxonal Dystrophy, Von Willebrands Disease type 1, Black Hair Follicular Dysplasia and Factor VII Deficiency.
We also have our dogs (and puppies!) patellas and hearts checked.
Papillons are a beautiful breed who will steal your heart. They love to play and spend time with people of all ages. They are extremely intelligent and highly trainable, and do very well in performance sports such as obedience, agility and tracking.
