Rio is proudly owned by me and bred by Monica Palmero of Silvermorning's Papillons USA.

Thank you to Monica for entrusting us at Sabelia Papillons with Rio and the exquisite Scandinavian/American bloodlines he introduces to Australia. We are very excited about our future and look forward to establishing our lines with this stunning dog. 

Rio has proven to be a very valuable sire, having produced one Supreme Champion (who is the breed record holder of all breed Best in Show wins for Papillons in Australia), and two Champion offspring from very limited use at stud. 

Rio has had a very successful show career winning multiple Best In Show All Breeds, Runner Up Best In Show, Best In Group 1st, Best In Group 2nd, Best Of Breeds, Runner Up Best Of Breeds, Classes In Show and Classes In Group. 

One very memorable win was at The Papillon (Dog) Club of NSW Inc 100th Championship Show when Rio won the Dog Challenge and Runner Up Best Exhibit in Specialty Show from the Junior Dog class! Only 2 weeks out of quarantine!

Rio attained his Championship title in style, winning Dog Challenge, Best of Breed, Runner Up Best In Group and Junior In Group just 4 months after arriving in Australia and one day before he turned 17 months old. 

After taking a 10 month break from the ring, Rio went on holiday in Brisbane, Queensland with Ian Rasmussen to be campaigned.

Rio was ranked #2 Papillon in Australia 2018!

Rio was ranked #1 Papillon in Australia in 2019!
